EXERCISE 07: ARTS & CRAFTS HANDCRAFTED PAPER DESIGNS CONSOEUR BENEDICTE J. CABILES - BMMA 1ST YEAR 2ND SEMESTER Through the process of creating my output for the EXERCISE 07: ARTS & CRAFTS HANDCRAFTED PAPER DESIGN. I have thought of creating an item that would be useful to me and can be an element of a decoration in my work desk. For most late night works, using a candle lamp would reduce the usage of electic powered lights and would add a sense of peaceful environment that could really help me have a calm state of mind as I do school works. I saw the opportunity to use paper as a side material rather than the main highlight of the actual handcrafted output. And the involvement of too much paper could also increase the chances of getting burned from the candle fire. Thus why I processed the used paper into smaller bits to add weight and mix with the sand with the purpose of holding the candle on the right place. Other than that, I used an Old Jar, some White Strings that have...

EXERCISE 04: INFOGRAPHICS

EXERCISE 04: INFOGRAPHICS CONSOEUR BENEDICTE J. CABILES - BMMA 1ST YEAR 2ND SEMESTER As I create my output for the EXERCISE 04: INFOGRAPHICS, I took note of the elements that seems to be missing on my previous works. This includes that things that I need to avoid and the things that I need to keep up. I have noticed that my main didifficulty has been the use of the right colors that will work together. In most cases I tend to use too many elements that makes my designs too overly decorated and hard to look at. I this case, I used a color palette generator that allowed me to formulate color combinations that would work well altogether and would also fit the topic of the design.  I used available graphic designs and my challenge would be to fit them all properly on an infographic template. With the use of consistent color palette and fonts that are easy to read and has hierarchy present in them. I kept the organization of contents simple and easy to access by the viewer's eyes...

EXERCISE 06: EVENT POSTER CONSOEUR BENEDICTE J. CABILES - BMMA 1ST YEAR 2ND SEMESTER Fashion has been one of the art forms that really brings excitement and joy to me. I have discovered Fashion Designers  with such beautiful vision to the advancement of fashion to this day. Taking inspirations on extremely well formed patterns and structures of garments with such stricking colors. One of those designers was Iris Van Harpen, a dutch based  fashion designer known for fusing technology with traditional haute couture craftsmanship.  For this EXERCISE 06: EVENT POSTER , I have decided to have a stong contrast that would highlight some garments that will be featured on the " FASHION RUNWAY ". This are personally my favorite pieces from the actual collection in real life ( The photos that I have used are from the main website of the fashion company www.irisvanherpen.com ). When it comes to the fonts that I used,  mostly are from the font family of TT Lakes Neue Conde...

EXERCISE 05: WEB BASED ADS

EXERCISE 05: WEB BASED ADS CONSOEUR BENEDICTE J. CABILES - BMMA 1ST YEAR 2ND SEMESTER In the process of creating my output for the EXERCISE 05: WEB BASED ADS, I was hesitant at first as I barely had an idea of what makes an ad effective more specifically the format or perhaps template that will capture the eyes of the viewers. I undergo research and I also checked on various social media platforms on how ads appear and look like. Whether it be a posted ad or thos pop up ads on websites visited, they share a common feature which is the eye-catching colors with fonts that are easy to read and a great contrast leading the eyes of the viewers to them. To begin the process, I first think of a product that I can work with and that is where the idea of a clothing line pops up in my mind. I do think that they are one common products that are advertised on social media platforms. I proceed to think of a fitting brand name which was: "Future Couture". The brand was mostly focused on hi...
